This place is not situated in one of Athens’s central areas, but I highly recommend a trip by train (green line) to the shopping district of Nea Ionia just so you can taste Maple’s amazing cakes!

During the past year I have become a loyal regular at “Maple” as I am truly fortunate to live only a few hundred meters from this cafe but I guarantee that a train ride here will be worth the effort if you suddenly get a craving for sweets.

For a very small amount of money you can taste world-class cakes and pies and here you can also find good sandwiches and brunch options, always with the freshest of ingredients. Also do try their refreshing granitas tasting of mango, peach or melon!

Visit Nea Ionia and “Maple – Sugar & Spice” at Alekou Panagouli 55! You will defenitely not regret it!
